FAQs

How do I get to Victoria Park?

Mile End tube (Central & District lines) is the classic route — about a 10-min walk to the main entrance on Grove Road. Cambridge Heath Overground is quieter and equally close. Avoid driving — parking around Hackney on show nights is a nightmare and road closures are common.

Is there a bag policy?

Yes — small bags up to A4 size only (roughly 30x20x10cm). No large rucksacks or backpacks. All bags are searched on entry. Security queues can be long — arrive at least 45 minutes before you want to be inside.

What are the best pubs nearby before the show?

The Royal Inn on the Park (Lauriston Road) is the classic pre-APE spot — right on the edge of the park. Pub on the Park (Martello Street) is lively and always buzzing on show nights. For something quieter, The Eleanor Arms on Old Ford Road is a proper East End boozer.

What time do gates open and headliners go on?

Gates typically open around 4pm. Support acts run from roughly 5pm. Headliners historically take the main stage between 8:30–9pm. Check the official APE app or socials the week of your show for confirmed set times.

Are the tickets transferable? Can I resell mine?

Most APE day tickets are standard barcode tickets and can be transferred. Some batches issued via AXS may be name-linked — check your confirmation email. We always recommend listing at face value. If your ticket is name-personalised, message us and we'll advise on the safest way to transfer.

Is there camping at All Points East?

No — APE is a non-camping city festival. That's actually one of the best things about it. You go home (or to your hotel/Airbnb) each night, sleep in a real bed, and come back fresh. Very civilised.

What's the food and drink like?

Genuinely one of the best festival food lineups in London. Expect a wide range of street food traders — everything from smash burgers to jerk chicken to vegan ramen. Bars are dotted throughout the site. Queues get long after 7pm so eat early if you can.
