FAQs
How do I get to Larmer Tree Gardens?
Most people drive — it's tucked on the Wiltshire/Dorset border near Tollard Royal, about 2.5 hours from London. If you're going car-free, take a South Western Railway train to Salisbury and hop on one of the official festival shuttle buses that run direct to the site. Book shuttle tickets in advance — they sell out!
Is camping included with my ticket?
Camping is a separate ticket on top of your festival entry. There are standard camping fields, a quieter acoustic camping area, and glamping options. Make sure you list or buy camping tickets alongside your entry ticket — you'll need both.
What's the vibe like — is it family-friendly?
Very much so. End of the Road has a wonderfully relaxed, grown-up atmosphere. The gardens are genuinely beautiful, the crowd is friendly and passionate about music, and there are dedicated family areas. It's intimate by festival standards — around 7,500 people — so it never feels overwhelming.
Are the tickets named / transferable?
Yes — EOTR uses a named-ticket system. If you buy a ticket here, make sure the seller initiates a name-change via the official ticketing platform (Ticket Tailor or Dice) before the event. We'll guide both parties through this process on WhatsApp.
What are the best stages?
The Woods Stage is the iconic one — outdoor, surrounded by trees, absolutely magical at dusk. The Big Top is for when it drizzles (it's September, pack a mac!). The Tipi tent is brilliant for late-night discoveries. The Garden Stage is a hidden gem for afternoon sets.
What should I pack?
Layers, layers, layers. Early September in Wiltshire can be glorious sunshine or a proper British autumn — often both in the same afternoon. Wellies or sturdy boots, a good waterproof, and a warm layer for evening. The site is genuinely lovely so smart-casual festival wear fits perfectly.
