Evening performances generally start at 7:30pm; matinees are usually 2:30pm. Jesus Christ Superstar runs approximately 2 hours including one interval. Always check your specific ticket for curtain-up time.
Is there a dress code?
No formal dress code — it's the West End, so anything from smart casual to a full night-out look is welcome. Most people dress up a little for evening shows, but come as you are.
What are the best seats in the house?
Rows D–L in the Stalls offer an immersive experience close to the action. The front rows of the Royal Circle give a brilliant elevated view of the full stage picture. The Grand Circle is great value and the Palladium's rake means sightlines are surprisingly good up there.
Where should I eat or drink before the show?
You're spoilt for choice in Soho. Bao on Broadwick Street is a short walk, as is Dehesa on Ganton Street for Spanish-Italian small plates. For pre-show drinks, The Argyll Arms is literally next door to the Palladium — a gorgeous Victorian pub and a West End institution.
Is there parking nearby?
Central London parking is expensive and limited. The Q-Park on Poland Street is the closest car park, but we'd strongly recommend the tube or train — Oxford Circus is genuinely one of the best-connected stations in London.
