What makes M72 different from a normal tour?
The M72 format means Night 1 and Night 2 have completely different setlists — zero repeated songs. Plus the iconic Snake Pit standing area right at the centre of the stage. If you can get both nights, do it.
How do I get to London Stadium?
Stratford station is your best bet — served by the Elizabeth line, Jubilee, Central, DLR, and Overground. It's about a 10-minute walk through the Olympic Park. Pudding Mill Lane DLR is also close for GA floor arrivals. Avoid driving — parking is extremely limited.
What time do doors open?
Doors typically open at 5:00pm for stadium shows at London Stadium. Support acts usually go on around 6:00pm, with Metallica hitting the stage around 8:30–9:00pm. Check the official Metallica socials for confirmed times closer to the date.
Are there good pubs nearby?
The Goldengrove in Stratford is a solid pre-show pub. Westfield Stratford City has plenty of bars and restaurants for a pre-gig meal. The Tap East craft beer bar is a fan favourite inside Westfield. Avoid hanging around too close to the stadium — it gets very busy.
What's the difference between Floor GA and Snake Pit?
Floor GA is general admission standing on the main arena floor. The Snake Pit is a small standing area in the very centre of the stage, surrounded by the band — an incredible but very limited experience sold as part of premium packages. Both are standing.
How do ticket transfers work?
Metallica M72 tickets are issued via Ticketmaster and are name-locked. The seller needs to initiate a transfer through their Ticketmaster account. Make sure you agree a transfer timeline before completing any deal on here.
Is there a dress code?
It's Metallica — wear your battle jacket, your Nothing Else Matters tee, or whatever you want. Black is always appropriate. No formal dress code, obviously.
