FAQs

How do I get to Sheffield for the festival?

Sheffield Midland station is bang in the city centre — direct trains from London St Pancras (about 2 hrs), Leeds (1 hr) and Manchester (1 hr). Most festival venues are within walking distance or a short tram/taxi ride. The Sheffield Supertram stops near Kelham Island too.

Are there good pre-festival pubs nearby?

Kelham Island is packed with great spots — the Fat Cat is a Sheffield legend, Kelham Island Tavern has won Best Pub in the country, and Hop Hideout is brilliant for craft beer. On Division Street you've got Shakespeare's and the Bungalows & Bears for a proper pre-party.

Is parking available at the venues?

Parking is very limited across the festival venues and not really recommended — Sheffield's city centre has multi-storeys but it's far easier to get the train or tram. Uber and taxis are plentiful late at night too. Save yourself the stress and come by rail.

Do I need separate tickets for each venue?

A Weekend Pass or Day Pass grants access to all official No Bounds venues on the relevant days — there's no venue-by-venue ticketing. Some special events or intimate showcases may have their own capacity limits, so get in early on the night.

What's the vibe and dress code?

No dress code — come as you are. October in Sheffield can be cold and damp, so layer up and wear comfortable shoes. The venues range from brick warehouse floors to outdoor industrial courtyards, so practicality is your friend. It's an underground crowd so just be yourself.

Is No Bounds accessible?

The festival works hard on accessibility across venues — check the official No Bounds website for venue-specific access info before you go. Some of the industrial spaces can be uneven underfoot, so it's worth planning ahead.
